Expedition to Antarctica, 2008

        During January 2008 we went on a scientific expedition to several island from the Antarctic Penninsula.
Among them Deception Island is one of the interesting places where several extreme environments can be found, given it's volcanic composition. It is an active volcano in the South Shetland Islands, off the Antarctic Peninsula.
